I think it was Chris Kenny that was asking a pollster on Sky News about how they get their sample these days. This was about 2 weeks ago. The pollster said they just get mobile phone numbers generated randomly. Chris Kenny asked him about the accuracy of that and he said that it might miss some of the top and bottom on the socio-economic scale. I think Chris Kenny suggested what about older generation also. That was a very pertinent session of TV, because it turns out all polls are using similar methods ( Antony Green this morning) which I did not know at the time! Otherwise I would have bet even more money on coalition victory, and won even more!!
