Can you be in motion to complete a catch?
the answer is yes as long as
(i) any fielder in contact with the ball is within the field of play. See 4 below.
(ii) the ball is at no time in contact with any object grounded beyond the boundary.
you stop motion at some time with ball in hand.
I can actually remember some issues with this with keepers catches where they would catch and throw the ball in the air with one motion...this was said to be not out if motion was not completed first.
