I'm not venting Noggie, I am saying that if that is the strategy by the management, then they have got it all wrong, and are not doing anyone any favours.
They manage a public listed company, then let's get on with it. For every buyer there's a seller, it does not matter what market conditions are like, what does matter is liquidity.If someone understands and likes the company, they will buy and hold. Why should the market conditions worry long term holders? There is no chance of a takeover, given the holding makeup, so there's no worry is there? If the price drops, some of the late entrants may get a chance to average down, others will get a chance to top up, what's the issue?
I don't understand why readers can't accept analysis and logic, this is not a footie team we are barracking for, we don't judge investment decisions by punters here, but let's not stop sharing proper facts.
