I am with you on CBH as a long term hold, and maybe even a buy at current levels though there are some other cheap stocks around.
However I have to comment on the phrase basic laws of supply and demand. You outline the demand scenario and broadly I agree, though India is in for a crash before it really takes off. But you ignore supply. CBH is not the only zinc producer seeing high prices and wanting to bring on more development - the future level of supply for zinc is rising fast and I think this worries markets. This may well be overdone, and Endeavour should be a low cost producer, but it would seem to me to be the biggest current worry.
