    I agree and i'm certainly a property bear, i'm just close to giving up hope of a decent pullback, hmmm, maybe that's the ultimate contrarian sign that we're near a peak......

    I'd love to dabble in the market with it but the gf is risk averse to say the least when it comes to shares, so hopefully i can make some extra $$$ over spring carnival and pick up some cheapies for a quick gain!

    We're looking south-east suburbs around Melbourne, Cheltenham, Glen Huntly, Mentone sort of area. Although i'd like the price to go up obviously, the ultimate reason for buying is to live together and maybe rent it out in 5 years time if we need a bigger place then. I just can't see logic that would say this is the right time to buy (expect for the newspapers saying it which makes me think it really can't be the right time to buy).
