Batman, the company is undertaking research in conjunction with the CSIRO on 3D printing, but that's more with one eye on the future, and not something that is going to make money tomorrow. They are pursuing (and have gotten two already) sales agreements based on current uses for their graphite. We can't really say what the EGT wants, although expanded graphite is clearly a big part of that, hence our early testing in this space. Building products is a likely fit. We can't say exactly what TK wants it for either, but given their massive business ($39b in annual sales, 160,000 employees) has numerous arms, it is likely to be a mix of uses. Their website is very interesting to look at. They have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies.
Lest people forget, TK signed a minimum 20ktpa offtake, with exclusivity in most of EU, except Germany. They will want and will take more than 20ktpa, but the agreement is set at that to show funders that a minimum of 30ktpa is locked in, which is enough to get the funding for the mine of up to $60m, depending on the BFS. Note that the capex is $56m, so the funding is actually going to be less than that, once we work out the final debt/equity split. Based on Tangible's post from the AGM, they are targeting a 35%/65% equity/debt split. Personally, I think they are being conservative at the moment (as they always are) in their public statements. Any offer of funding assistance from TK is likely to see funders wiling to go much, much closer to 100% of funding, depending on how much balance sheet they are willing to offer. What that means is, the dilution as we move into the producer phase is likely to be much less than most people anticipate. Management and family and friends own a significant portion of the company, so you can bet that they will want to get away with the least amount of dilution they can.
