Didn't say that a carbon tax was a perfect solution at all.
That said, business was still happy to go that way as it gave them some certainty.
Right now, under Scott from marketing's leadership, business still doesn't have direction. It's over a decade now that business has been second guessing the federal government on emissions and power policy.
Doing nothing and hoping atmospheric CO2 goes away is much worse.
Or, praying for divine intervention either for that matter.
