I see a number of reasons why there is a rise in share price:-

1. They are cheap (Anything under 30 cents is cheap in my opinion)

2. Only company in Australasia that can make thhis kind of steel product.

3. They will most likely get the contract to make and supply plate for the new navy ships and subs to be built in South Australia (I say this because they supplied plate for the Collins Subs and because they are the only company that can maufacture and supply plate in Australia - buy Aussie!)

4. They are likely to obtain further overseas defence contracts (War and military action is increasing)

5. Would not be surprised to see some corporate activity on this one as a predator could pick it up whilst market conditions are poor.

6. Bluescope in my opinion would love to get their hands on BIS and would always have a go if someone else had a dip.

7. General market sentiment has turned more favourable.

8. They have more than adequate cash reserves with low debt.
