I considered selling some shares to free up funds for the SPP. I'm sure a few others have too. The risk here is that only $1m is up for grabs. Just 33 investors at $30k each, for example. Or if the price starts ticking upwards (which it has over 3 weeks to do), then maybe it will be 400 investors scaled back to a measly $2,500 each. Those free oppies are pretty attractive. I decided to hold for now and see what happens over the next few weeks given the potential for news-flow before 13 Aug.
