I’d be expecting the company to take the full amount I apply for especially if the applicant is not selling to fund the SPP. I think they should take that into account not sure they will but maybe adjust it as a portion against shareholding at closing date as I’d be nicked if holding all the shares in 1 structure means I only get 2500 worth while some holding 100 shares in 3 or 5 hins gets 7500 to 12500. not saying that’s what they’ll do but I’ll be nicked if they don’t. It’ll be like jobkeeper let’s overpay the casuals so they get more than they were earning yet do nothing for the earners whose whole income is stopped. i expect companies to act smarter than the government especially when it comes to cap raising for themselves I’m not against anyone doing that just think if you aren’t taking all applications then there should be some science behind even distribution.
