I see a lot of talk about Schedule 4 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.
The practical reality is that Schedule 4 doesn't really apply to NTL.
NTL does not need to clear any vegetation and it already has a purpose built mining portal pad for its purposes.
Schedule 4 is meant to stop surface mining in pristine forested areas.
Even if the NTL permit area is turned into Schedule 4, it will not affect NTL's operations.
The Schedule 4 restrictions are set out at s 61(1A) of the Crown Minerals Act 1991:
Plainly speaking, NTL's activities will not remove vegetation or result in any degradation of the surface so NTL will be able to keep going even if the land is Schedule 4.
In the meantime, please, keep pushing the share price lower for me to double up on this glorious opportunity![]()
