Fred...they way they word all these processes can easily confuse. Look at the table of events in their announcements re the rights issue. It trades ex rights on 25th. Then after all the finalisations and settlements are done over the next few daysv they refer to the register on 1 october which should then be the true and proper up to date record of holdrs at the close on 24th.
