I think involvment with the mauritanian government is a good thing.. dont forget, that the relationship between mauritania and china may create closer links with hardman now that thay are involved with mauritania.. Also the prospect of future licensing being made available to hardman at a preference to other players or better commercial terms may also be a positive if the relationship is well nutured...
On the other side maybe WPL somehow forced hardman to involve the government to ease political pressure from recent political unrest... wouldnt put it past them..
