Davo, I am a baby boomer myself, by heavens we had the best of it. Our parents paid for us and so will our children, what a hoot. Our parents had to pay for their education. Everyone else paid for ours, thanks Gough. Then when we passed that stop we pulled up the ladder to stop the next generation coming aboard that gravy train. Our parents had to pay for health insurance and gaps. We didn't have to insure while we were young then joined the health societies when we got old. We put a stop to that for the newbys. Now we have insurance for the 'over 55s' so we dont have to subsidise their car insurance but newbys have to subsidise our ailing health. Our parents saved and lived within their means, we are partying on and will leave a hell of a national debt for the kids. We can get the pension at 65, not for you kids.
