human trials need to both demonstrate the effect act of the tech but also demonstrate the safety. The former is quite fast, like a few weeks. But it can take months or years to quantify the negative effects (if any). I don’t mean to sound negative myself, I’m genuinely quite bullish on this, but I do know there’s a lot of unknowns in biotech and it takes a lot longer than most have patience for - all good things for long term holders!
