Back in '80 there was lots of oil still to be wasted, lots of production capacity, relatively small government and hardly any debt.....

and back in 1980 there was actually 'RULE of LAW' where fraudsters and the like actually were hauled over the coals, if I recall a president was even impeached in that era for stuff that is 'business as usual' today....

do you think the IMF guy is stunned because he was arrested....no he was stunned because he was arrested THIS TIME....

the vanishing of power that those who currently have it (and abuse it for whatever reasons) will be swift and worth living to see!
