I agree they were cheap, but if you read the announcement it was done, in the usual way, of reflecting &averaging the prevailing market price over a prescribed period. One could argue that the price has for a long time been floundering around at pathetic prices & the recent uptick is as a result of news in the market place that a group of Chinese investors have come on board. I for one am happy at anything that kick starts this old war horse as I've been underwater big time for a long time since buying in to Scimitar way back when.
it often takes someone to recognise value before others follow like lemmings. New techniques, upgraded resources and uranium emerging from the 'too dangerous' post Fukashima world all contribute but nothing gets an investor going faster than thinking someone else can see value in something before they did.
