If you watched the video I posted Saturday.. The Biotech Fund manager spoke to all your points . She would clearly have a different opinion than you do. She spoke of the difficulty Biotechs have had raising capital for the last 3 years . The funding window has been slammed shut. And she particularly highlighted how much harder it was in Australia. YF also praised Hopper when he raised $80M on occasion. He said biotech globally with good science were failing because they couldn’t access funds.
I can tell you from personal experience the most difficult and thankless job in the world is raising capital for a pre-revenue start up. I hated doing that. Just the worst.
Whilst many on here are busing bagging out Hopper , I am greatful that he’s Chairman and not me.
The video also highlights the problem is shareholder's in Australia don’t have understand biotechs and the need for ongoing funding as they hit milestones and need t progress.,they need to be prepared for a add more money as the company progresses.
We are at tha point now. We have a shareholder problem, So they can sell out or wait for the results.
