Mods! ha, probably written by a mod.

What a joke. I wouldn't call that a reasonable argument but more a rant. Maybe the heat within the rant reflects whiskeys personal experience more than he is letting on.
No compassion or understanding and I find it difficult to agree with any of it, although the truth is obvious.

Dare I say the media must hold some responsibility, as the new pulpit for the last 50 years. Our western aspirational culture is all focussed on getting more and if you don't buy into it there is something wrong with you(sort of a tribal not-like-me-ness).

It has gone to far and this last 12 month period has brought back to earth the masters of the universe, despite the golden handshakes these b......s receive, and the day traders, and despite my losses I see it as necessary.

Alot of people are struggling and doing it tough, and there is probably more to come. I find it difficult to not empathise a little despite how easy it would be to blame them and then feel better about it.
