Good thread;

Some here may appreciate a book titled "Affluenza" by Clive Hamilton. It details the medias part and the Governeemnts role to increase the attainable and just in reach luxuries which we have come to expect.

For example new houses today are basically double the size/ floor plan they where of new houses 30 years ago and have 2/3 the occupants due to families generally having less children.

Every room having a TV which prohibits cohesion, discussion and compromise amongst the household and promotes a Cocoon and selfish mentality of children.

And i know the irony is not lost that i am saying this on a stock market website. lol
