One wonders why there isnt some form of stimulus for renovations of smaller dwellings.Have a look at how many smallish 3 bedroom homes are within 30 mins of the city
Sure,means test it so its only available to families wanting to expand the current smaller dwellings.
Surely this would also increase jobs in the building sector.
I guess the main problem being that the building sector is full of tradies prepared to build from scratch but dont like the challenges of renovating.Much easier to do the former.
