I said it was shale gas.
Shale gas and oil, to my knowledge, is produced by wells that are fracked. So shale is synonymous with fracking.
The ADX project is attracting attention due to relative proximity (2.25km) to aa National Park and extreme proximity (20 meters) to a Nature Reserve - whether this issue makes awarding the drilling permit politically challenging, we will see.
One should note that Energy is part of the Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology - a Ministry led by a Green Party minister (the Government its a OVP (Conservative)/ Green coalition).
