Burn rate = negative NET cash flow.

Revenue = positive gross cash flow.

Revenue could be $10,000,000 and the burn rate $5,000,000 and you wouldn't be close to breaking even.

The opposite of revenue is expenses, not burn rate.

( revenue ) - (expenses) = burn-rate or profit

The BURN rate YTD March quarter, was $3.478mil as you said. In other words, CNN is $3.478mil (as of March YTD) short...
