I work in and around many different global retail organisations - South Africa aside, sites in particular states in North America are tough. Placing merch behind closed / locked clear facing cabinets is the opposite of easy shopping. Whilst Chemist Warehouse is not in that league by any margin, it is a high risk shrinkage environment, and store design makes it so. I think they would have greater instore risks to mitigate and A2M tins whilst attractive, isolating a risk to one brand portfolio in a congested section, doesn't feel right. The CW / A2M National Account Manager needs to get on top of this shopper inhibitor. It's a negative.
