The market is being absolutely hammered today - what a hemorrhage! I thought I was dreaming when I logged on mid-morning - even so called 'safe stocks' are being dumped overboard. But, as Buffet says, when people leave the room that's when smart investors walk in. I loaded up more at about $2.75 and will keep doing so because I know QAN has a tremendous upside. Good cash reserves, solid customer base and profitable peripheral business such as Epicure, Frequent Flyer and not to mention lucrative joint ventures. There's 2 ways to look at negatives (almost a cliche now) that the glass is half empty or half full. Well, it's half full today because listen folks, $2.75 X 2 = $5.50 and some instos still have QAN valued at $4.60 which is about $1 less than that. Britain in or out? The market is jittery about this so all stocks are suffering. This is when you get in - exploit fear. The same happened Jan 2015 over the Greek bailout fiasco. Stocks tumbled, then recovered within a few months.
Today, QAN opened at $2.91 then immediately climbed to $2.93. This indicates that if this were a fuzzy, warm, wiggles happy day QAN would be at $3 today but because the exit / panic floodgates are open it's being creamed like everything else. Look at the volume - 15 million units and climbing - that's 43 million dollars and still 90 mins away from market close. I have personally witnessed this stock climbing over 40c in ONE day. Listen to 'Occam's razor' that the most simple explanation is usually the most credible. Get them cheap folks.
