The costs of every program including news should be coverd by the advertisement income(revenue). If the costs of any program can not be covered by the advertisement income,then the costs should be cut down or the program should be stopt. If FTA broadcasting companies are charged licence fees,then Government should charge licence fees to other companies which provide online streaming services to Australians like Youtube,Netflix.But licence fees of domestic FTA services should be exempted or reduced significantly,because foreign mega companies take big share of the domestic advertisement market. SWM should not pay too much for sports programs. If the CEO and the controller of the major shareholder do not mind miner shareholders,miner shareholders may not support them in AGM too. What a shame with share price!
