Usually the content of said post is incredibly inaccurate and often plainly wrong to go along with the obvious lie about location. It kind of goes hand in hand - both yourself and Skol are case in point.
Theres no need to check either, it's plainly obvious to anyone who knows what to look for.
Satellite internet will show up as the location of where the ISP lies, almost all land based locations use fixed line though. It seems every post you make is nothing short of guessing as you stated.
Also, to say someone who knew these things is a TU hunter is crazy, I personally have thumbs disabled as they are meaningless. For example I could go on the biggest HC ramp stock threads like LYC or ANP, and say its going to $10 this week and I'd get 100 thumbs up - worthless.
