I would like to add an extra question which is this: In what way can the price of gold be influenced by those posting comments in this thread? Does anybody believe that such ability does exist?

If they don't, as I really suspect, then their entire behavior can be explained as just a need to get consonant social support as explained in the article referred in a previous post of mine.

For instance. On reading your post I attempted to give you a TU but to no avail. This because people here obviously want to reduce the importance of a post containing some astute dissonant information.

In short, they are here solely in search of support for their beliefs.
