I was alos a little surprised to see ESG break out over the last two days. I noticed that the buyers on screen were fairly thin but keen and then big bids came from off screen. I agree this looks like a few people may be "in-the-know" about some upcoming news. Although reserve estimates are not expected until 3rd quarter they did start "coring operations" some 4 weeks ago now .. so its possible there is some knowledge of those results by now. The other possibility is that the market has simply woken up to ESG.
In any case its good to see ESG being rerated as I expected. There's good reasons for it to go a lot higher over the next 12 months. I am holding them in my super fund.
