I wonder if it has something to do with the departure of a major fund manager at Platinum.
It would probably be a major recruitment for Antipodes, which has already several ex. Platinum, but which has not yet developed a significant Asia ex Japan business (according to the last figures I saw).
Pure speculation from me as I do not know where Joseph Lai is going.
