I posted this on IBG as well.
Why is there a 9-fold difference in market cap between TZN and IBG when on the face of it:
1) TZN has less zinc
2) It is in Algeria vs Greenland
3) They don't own 100%, rather only 65%
4) They don't have a license for their zinc project and are further behind
5) Yes- they have a gold project in the Adelaide Hills, but 'only' 252,000 oz of gold
6) a Chinese fund has already moved in on the register and taken a stranglehold of the business (this is the only logically explanation as they need to hold up the performance of their fund by propping up the share price)
7) they have less cash and are in a net debt position
Why? Anyone care to comment?
