Look I am not sure if you have different views on what constitutes a 'race', as the term is quite a murky one. But probably most would say that 'muslims' are not a race.
I think that your argument goes along the lines of "people have been doing it (racism) for years, so it must be alright".
If that's the case; it's a pretty weak argument. People have been doing lots of things for years - murder, stealing, etc, etc - but that fact doesn't make it acceptable.
But look, I would say that many foriegn students do study here to get a foot in the door. But hey, there are worste ways of entering a land mass: note the way that the English entered here. Let's hope that the soon-to-be world power (read: China) doesn't use the same tactic.
But I s'pose if they do; it's all OK because that sort of thing has been going on for yonks.
