I agree with some of your summation BUT interest rates will not move because they should or have to or any other valid reasons, they will move 100% for political reasons.
In other words one morning some pollie will get out of bed go to work and just say, put them up or down without any more than a minutes thought
Also I don't believe that it is physically possible for rates to rise
