If that is the case, there would be some rather disgruntled property owners - even more so than with just the QLD govt's action. But one could argue that if some are rather well off then they can afford it given homelessness is on the rise.
Perhaps an even more sore point would be if funds raised are mismanaged and/or spent frivolously - easy to do with someone else's money.
