I would suggest that we are now exactly where GW says we are in the classic bubble cycle'. 28 minute mark of presentation (but do watch the whole thing for his logic).

Grant's presentation was published in October 2012 and I think now in Feb 2013 we are just where he places the bubble.

His fundamental argument for golds "mania phase" is that the bond bubble must first burst. Interesting to see that interest rates are now rising in bonds (which leads to capital losses for bond holders).

It's just a trickly nudge at present but there will be lots and lots of people watching those UST yields start to inch up right now...

Unlike BS which states rising bond yields indicates the death of gold, GW's premise is that shear panic will ensue when capital losses start accumulating in bond markets as interest rates start to rise off 200+ year lows.

Anyway... GW presents it far better than I can.
