From my experience, you are not a good CEO when you blame other people for the company performance.

He blames consumer not spending, he blame GFC, he blames previous management ...I havent read anything about him
making DJS a place to shop or strategy to grow.

Yes these are maybe the factors going against you but what are you doing it about it?

Sally MacDonald inherit Oroton in a shocking state and she doesn't blame anyone, she learns its history, she research its customers based, she concentrates on items that deliver high margin, she cut cost, she improve efficiency, she buckle down, she kicks ass and turn it around into a luxury power house and she did all that without retail management experience.. ..now that is one good CEO..
