Didnt know about ARQ till I saw it on HC ! I am a holder in CDM and quite frankly, it appears to be a complete stuff up by CDM, particularly just after crowing about record results and performance. I would think that it will negatively affect the proposed float of the Special Opportunities Fund by Cadence. I mean, what chance have they got of picking the special opportunities, if they get the major and core holdings of the flagship fund, so wrong.
I am surprised that CDM hasnt been more severely affected and wouldnt be surprised if there was more hurt to come. Bitterly disappointed with Karl and the crew, although to be fair, in todays market, things are overshooting on the upside and the downside and stocks are moving the equivalent of 2 years movement in a single day.
I will have to go and re-read the report from ARQ in an attempt to ascertain exactly what they mean and if the degree of hurt to CDM has been over or underdone. Time will tell !
