Purpose built CNG vehicles are available overseas and I believe there are a few commercial CNG vehicles operating in Australia. The fuel requires tanks four times larger than liquid fuels and built to withstant the high storage pressures. Refuelling times are an issue. The gas needs to be pressurized into the vehicle tank and this process causes adiabatic heating.
