You cite Russia and China. I would cite Sweden, Finland and Norway. They are not utopia, but definitely better societies than modern Xtian dominated places like the USA

I did not speak of a religious free utopia, Getting rid of religion does not create a utopia, but it does remove a major impediment to one.
