why the delay in announcing

Onething that surprises me is that ELK management have yet to make an announcement. I would have thought that ELK management would have, like all other JORC type reports received an executive summary, which they would use as the basis to announce to the world the outcome, with minimal changes. The simple reason being not to mislead the market, and be held responsible, by para-phrasing or coming to conclusions which may be better than they really are. Having read some JORC announcements, this seems to do a cut and paste.

So why not the simply cut and paster this morning with a few words of encouragmeent.

As some one else pointed out, the CEO is overseas still, and not on holidays. ELK also indicated that they were in discussion with CO2 suppliers. But until a bankable product, any JV was always to the CO2 suppliers favour due to the uncertainty and the fact that nothing was bankable. The RS report is now bankable and the CO2 proposed partners can now consider in light of this and can make a descion

If there is no announcement today, the delay is a CO2 JV deal in the wings
