I know perfectly well how the market works. Day traders are a valuable component, adding to liquidity. Shorters, on the other hand, are an unnecessary evil. However, awareness of their tactics has assisted me tremendously in accumulating sizable positions in a number of stocks such as WBT, so I must admit to a certain ambivalence.
It is only when these people use the internet forums to push and pull the SP, that I really have a problem with them.
