MYR's 2H 22 commences on 1 February 2022.
It's always the weaker half (although 'always' given unusual times is a dangerous word). If sales drop, 2H 22 will be unprofitable.
Because Alexa ceased its very handy website popularity rankings and others like Similar Web don't offer similar immediacy, it's more difficult to get a quick handle as to how the MYR online site is performing.
Shopper numbers to the flagship Melbourne CBD store and the similar one in Sydney will have markedly dropped. I don't know how foot traffic at suburban shopping centres is going.
It's not impossible at below A$0.40, Mr Lew may swoop and lodge a takeover bid at what he will claim is a fair premium.
