I was surprised the SP held up as well as it did since the announcement about the SPP at 30c. I thought it would have fallen to 30c immediately, but I suppose people getting on board for the shareholder registration date was incentive to buy up.
Now that's passed, and the offer will be made this Friday, those that bought last week to be eligible can sell out, buy back at 30c as part of the SPP.
Foolishly, I decided to hold when I saw the SPP holding up at ~35c last week.
It will be interesting to see how well the SPP is taken up.
