The announcement of 6 Aug said longwall production for July was running at a rate of 1.6 mtpa. This was equal to production level before they spent over $100 mill on the new development. But still a long way short of the planned rate of around 3 mtpa.
They tried to be as positive as possible in the announcement by saying production was up by 44% in July compared to June (the first month of operation for new longwall).
