    @mickban this is disturbing stuff.

    Or put another way, yet more stuff that's disturbing. Because we already have loads of scientific analysis and reports about the impact of anthropogenic global warming, which is caused chiefly by the buildup in the atmosphere of greenhouse gases due to human activity, ie burning fossil fuels.

    all these different dynamics, causes and effects are only expected to intensify rather than moderate.

    just moments ago, i posted on an Arctic thread also running on HC a lift from RT news app, which reported the northern hemisphere's former "pole of cold" in Siberia has disappeared. The Siberian town was jn the news midyear for recording a summer maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius.

    this former "pole of cold" in the 1990s recorded a northern hemisphere low of nearly -68 degrees meaning that in the past generation it has recorded temperature e differences in excess of an ASTOUNDING 100 Degrees Celsius, the RT report said, citing a senior Russian climate scientist.

    the writing is very much on the wall for coming generations. Likely not on mine because nearly all will have checked out in the next 10-15 years.
