Hike has been caused by (I believe) index tracking institutions getting on board. SGL was admitted to S&PASX 300 index from 22 Sept. My broker estimated instiutions needed to buy about 9 million shares ($5 m) to be correctly weighted. Re incorrect code - SGC should be SGL - I wrote complaining of this to boss of HC last April. He told me that it had been passed to the programmer to correct. Have a heart, he's probably been very busy - Sydney Gas did change from SGC to SGL last January.
