Yes I am still very bullish on Sydney Gas.
For the record, I reckon SGL $1.00 by christmas, $1.30 by end of Feb 04.
Yesterday morning I posted my fairly detailed assessment of the near term outlook for Sydney Gas and the anomilies I see in the pricing of the convertible notes (SGLG & SGLGA) and options (SGLOA). You might like to have a look at it and give me your thoughts.
Yesterday was another 'gas', SGL up 3 to 87 and the conv notes up 5 to 90.
In the last week I picked up 45,000 options @ av 27 cents which are now already 'in the money'.
Still believe the conv notes are excellant value - @ 90 cents they yield 8%pa plus the potential upside to mid 2006.
Looking forward to General Meeting tomorrow - should be lots of good news around.
