Time is the hurry.

If they want ITC then they have less than 4 months to make it happen. Takeovers take time and so by the time we have a bid - bidders statement and then the reply from ITC it takes months to do . Counter offers , meetings etc.
As soon as the drill bit goes and production starts again ITC will become far more valuable.
Whilst there is a lull in the oil price and shaky world markets its a perfect time really to have a crack at a company.
