It could be used in a colony picking module that harvests significant bacteria for further testing and in an Antibiotic Sensitivity Testing module to read the results of disc and strip testing. The CSS joint venture may also have plans to produce a ELS based bacterial identification module as an adjunct to the screening power of the APAS...

I'm eager to see what the Incubot is all about! I hope it's not just an automated incubator but incorporates say a colony picking module or an ELS ID module as mentioned above.
