Probably due to the fact that the Australian stock exchange is overweight in resources. And as my portfolio is a little overweight with resources then I'm feeling the brunt as well.
Let's just hope that the resources boom doesn't go sour otherwise it could be lights out time for this country. It would be nice to know we had something else to fall back onto should the worse case scenario was to occur.
